Job Summary:

The company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our team. The Controller will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for implementing robust reporting systems and building a team dedicated to continuous improvement across all departments. The ideal candidate will be a young engineer with experience in continuous improvement, familiar with Kaizen systems, and possess programming skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the seafood or food distribution industry.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, particularly Kaizen.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and strong understanding of relational databases
  • Proven experience in authoring of PowerBI reports using advanced DAX measures
  • SAP Business One experience a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Young professional with a proactive and innovative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive reporting systems to track and analyze key performance metrics.
  • Lead and build a team focused on continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Utilize programming skills to automate reporting and data analysis tasks.
  • Drive performance improvement in the fish factory by analyzing production data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing lean solutions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through the application of Kaizen principles.
