Location: Isando, Johannesburg / East Rand
Salary: R75k Monthly CTC plus benefits

About the job: To plan, implement and organize the various HR Processes across the business and ensuring effective HR Service delivery at functional and branch level, whilst at all times upholding the high standards of the company
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12
Diploma / Degree in Human Resources or Business-related field
Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel – experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables essential)
Minimum of 3 years HR, IR, and project management experience
Solid experience in IR and union negotiations
Good understanding and knowledge of current and relevant labor legislation
Minimum of 2 years’ industry-specific knowledge
Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to MIBCO / BCEA legislations across branches and Head Office
Ensure compliance with labor legislation and provide advisory support to management to minimize risk to the company
Ensure all HR Policies are compliant with applicable laws and kept up-to-date
Ensure all entities in the portfolio are compliant with Employment Equity (EE) requirements
Committees are established
Quarterly meetings are held
Updated EE files are maintained at branches
Management of all Health and Safety processes, ensuring compliance with the OHS Act
Implement minimum control standards and OHS legal compliance register
Coordinate annual OHS audits at all locations and ensure full compliance
Employee Documentation & Records
Ensure all employees in the portfolio have up-to-date contracts and signed policies on file; conduct regular audits
Ensure policy files are distributed and explained to all branches; ensure all staff acknowledge company policies
Ensure all employees have job descriptions, offers of appointment, and employment contracts on file
Ensure proper job grading of positions and alignment of salary bands to job grades
Recruitment & Onboarding
Ensure adherence to the company’s recruitment policy
Implement end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, interviewing, selection) at branch/operational levels
Implement pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for new employees at branch/operational levels
Track probation processes and support management in implementing probation procedures
Ensure background screening is conducted for all new hires
Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are signed with all agencies
Keep recruitment costs minimal; use agencies only for specialized/skilled roles
Utilize alternative recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) as needed to enhance candidate sourcing
Industrial Relations (IR)
Management of union relationships
Lead negotiations, litigation, CCMA, and Bargaining Council cases
Ensure managers are trained to initiate and chair hearings
Assist management in drafting charges
Provide guidance to the business on all IR matters
Deliver a cost-effective IR service
Branch Engagement & Communication
Conduct regular visits to branches within the portfolio and engage with staff at all levels
Build sustainable relationships with senior management (Operations Directors, FD, Financial Managers, CEO, etc.)
Actively promote training across branches
Conduct HR Connect sessions with staff as a refresher on HR policies
HR Projects & Change Management
Facilitate/coordinate the implementation of onboarding programs for new hires
Lead or contribute to HR-related projects and change management initiatives
